Background


Early Life and Passion for Horses
From a non-equestrian background, Nick's journey began while visiting his grandparents in Devon, where his fascination with horses developed from an early age. He quickly established a deep connection with horses, learning both practical and theoretical aspects of equestrianism through family and community connections.

As a teenager, he entered local and national show jumping competitions, displaying remarkable talent and a natural rapport with horses.


Progression and Competitive Success
Nick's early notable achievements in show jumping were winning the inaugural Young Riders Championship at Olympia. He later went on to represent Great Britain on the Nations Cup team in Theux, Belgium. Nick also gained experience in eventing and dressage, which earned him recognition from leading riders and trainers, paving the way for a successful career.
After spending time riding and training riders in Japan, Nick returned to the UK and embarked on a career in eventing, where he produced numerous horses and riders to top international level.
